If your arrival time permits and you feel comfortable after your flight, you can enjoy an optional evening visit to Boudhanath Stupa. The stupa is especially atmospheric in the evening when pilgrims and devotees walk around the monument, spin prayer wheels, light butter lamps, and offer prayers.

After the optional visit, return to the hotel and enjoy a restful evening.

Swayambhunath Stupa

Namobuddha is traditionally associated with the story of Prince Mahasattva, who is believed to have encountered a starving tigress and her cubs and, moved by compassion, offered his own body to save them. This day takes you beyond Lumbini to explore the ancient sites connected with Kapilvastu and the Shakya kingdom, as well as locations traditionally associated with previous Buddhas.

Tilaurakot - Ancient Kapilvastu

The first major stop is Tilaurakot, traditionally identified with ancient Kapilvastu, the capital of the Shakya kingdom.

Kudan

Khokana
