Today is your first full day of pilgrimage, dedicated to some of the most important Hindu temples in and around Kathmandu.

You will begin the morning with a visit to Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. You will have the opportunity to participate in or witness the morning Puja and experience the devotional atmosphere of the temple complex. The sacred Bagmati River, traditional rituals, and centuries-old religious heritage make Pashupatinath a particularly meaningful beginning to your pilgrimage.

After Pashupatinath, continue to Guhyeshwari Temple, one of the important Shakti pilgrimage sites in Kathmandu Valley. The temple holds a special place in Hindu religious tradition and is located close to the Pashupatinath area.

Next, visit Budhanilkantha Temple, renowned for its impressive reclining statue of Lord Vishnu resting on a bed of serpents. The peaceful temple setting provides time for prayer and spiritual reflection.

Continue to Vivah Mandap, a sacred site associated with the marriage of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita. The site has strong connections with the Ramayana and is an important place for devotees following the traditions surrounding their divine marriage.

Upon arrival in Pokhara, check in to your hotel and take time to relax.

Depending on your arrival time, you can enjoy a peaceful evening around the hotel or explore the nearby area at your own pace. The following days will focus on the sacred sites of Muktinath and Pokhara.

After breakfast, begin your journey from Pokhara toward Jomsom, the gateway to the Muktinath pilgrimage.

The journey takes you through the dramatic landscapes of the Kali Gandaki Valley, with views of mountains, hills, rivers, and traditional Himalayan settlements. As you travel higher, the scenery gradually changes from green hills to the distinctive arid landscapes of the Mustang region.

Upon arrival in Jomsom, check in to your hotel and take time to rest. Since Muktinath is located at a high altitude, keeping the evening relaxed is recommended to allow your body to adjust to the elevation before the following day's pilgrimage.

If time and local conditions permit, you may visit nearby places around Jomsom for a short exploration. However, the primary focus is to rest and prepare for the early morning visit to Muktinath Temple.

Wake up early in Jomsom and prepare for your pilgrimage to Muktinath Temple, one of the most sacred pilgrimage destinations in Nepal for Hindu devotees.

After breakfast, travel toward the Muktinath area and begin your temple visit. The journey offers spectacular views of the Mustang landscape and the surrounding Himalayan mountains.

Upon reaching Muktinath, you will have time for morning Puja and prayers at the temple. Muktinath is particularly revered as a sacred place of Lord Vishnu and is an important destination for Hindu pilgrims from Nepal, India, and other parts of South Asia.

Continue to Phewa Lake and enjoy a relaxing boat ride across the lake. During the boating experience, visit Tal Barahi Temple, a small two-storey pagoda-style temple located on an island in the middle of Phewa Lake.
